FAREWELL PARTY AT WAVERLEY
“Belmont,” the home of Airs Walkinton, was the scene of a gay party on Friday, when Aliss Alary Walkinton entertained some friends at a farewell .evening in honour of Miss Mary Harvey, who is leaving shortly for a tour of America. Newmarket was played, the winners being Aliss Al. Brewer and Mr Ede, while the consolation prizes were won by Miss AL Alexander and Air Farquharson. The decorations wjere very attractively carried out, the draw-ing-room being in pink and mauve, while the supper tables looked very bright with red flowers and autumn foliage. Guests included:—Mrs James, Mr and Mrs S. Train, Mr and Mrs F. Train, Miss Matthews, Aliss S. Symes, Aliss M. Brewer, Misses C. and M. Alexander, Alisses W. aaid A. Train, and Messrs Afcßae, Ede, Farquharson, Oowdrell, D. Craig, Hewitson and Lance.
