FIRE AT BLENHEIM

BRIGADE MAKE GOOD SAVE [ Per Press Association. ] BLENIIEIAT, April 16. I A fire occurred early this morning in [the shop of Air R. Wooster, painter and ipaperhanger, in Queen Street. The brigade make a good save, though the outbreak occurred in close proximity to a large quantity of oils, paints, etc. The contents of the shop were insured for £5OO in the Phoenix. The loss is csti- : mated at £lO9. The premises are part [of a block of shops owned by Mr W. C. Nicholson, of Palmerston North, the whole of which is insured for £5OO in the London and Lancashire. The dapiage to the building is, roughly £5O.
