THE SPANISH UNREST “DOWN WITH THE DICTATOR!” Messages from Spain indicate that resentment at the restrictions of the Dictator,' General De Rivera, must shortly lead to a crisis. Many sections of society ar e described, as “boiling with indignation.” (Sun Cable). Received April 15, 10 p.m. LONDON, April 15. General De Rivera, interviewed by I the Aladrid correspondent of the Daily (Mail, rcv’ieu his measures for the defeat of the anti-Government campaign, which he said was “stimulated by linancier.s who fish in the troubled waters and see the finish of their illicit profits brought about by the renascence of Spain’s vitality-” General De Rivera categorically re counted plans for the economic reor- • ganisalion of the country, and said ; that the King and nation would decide ! upon his successor when he retired. It was well I organised and included a three hours’ ' patriotic procession, representing AlaI drid and the provinces. Many women {participated. The Pari s correspondent of the Daily News reports that messages from Aladrid indicate that th e Dictator’s rc- ' cent actions have left many sections of society boiling with indignation. Huge posters, “Down with the Dictator!’ and “Long live the Republic!” are being plastered in thp principal streets. Resentment at the Dictator’s restrictions must shortly lead to a crisis.
