SUMMER TIME
THIRTY MINUTES NEXT SATURDAY MORNING OPERATION OF NEW ACT TO LAST TILL NEXT MARCH. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 11. The following notice concerning “summer time” appears in the Gazette to-night: —“It is hereby notified foi general information that under the bummer Time Act, 1928, summer time commences at 2 o’clock in the morning of Sunday next, October 14, and ends at 2 o’clock in the morning of Sunday, March 17, 1929. For the purpose of giving effect to the Act the time will, therefore be advanced thirty minutes as from 2 a.m, on Sunday next and be put back thirty minutes as from 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 17, 1929.”
