POSITION IN AUSTRALIA STABILISATION PROPOSALS [ Australian Press AssL. 1 SYDNEY, Oct. 3. A conference between the Premier, Air T. R., Bavin, and representatives of the mining unions, discussed the position of the coal industry. Air Bavin explained the Government’s proposals lor stabilising industry and indicated that the Government would consider any < ounter proposals made by the unions. The latter so far have not submitted suggestions, but after the conference adjourned the unions met tc discuss the whole position.
