AUSTRALIA’S SELECTION ELEVENS CHOSEN FOR PRELIMINARY MATCH SYDNEY, Oct. 4. The Australian selectors have chosen teams to represent Australia against The Rest in Melbourne on October 19. They are as follows: Australia. —Woodfull (captain), Ponsford, Oldfield, Kippax, Grimmett, Gregory, Ryder, Blackio, Andrews and R. Oxenham. The Rest.—lronmonger, Kelleway, V. Richardson (captain), Taylor, Bradman, Jackson, O’Connor, Nicholls, Harris, Scott, A’Beckett. A. Thompson is twelfth man for both sides.
