FIRE IN FURNITURE SHOP
EARLY MORNING BLAZE (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., Sept. 15. Shortly after 2.30 this morning a Art in premises in Main Street nest, occupied by G. Diedrich, cabinetmaki ■, caused serious damage to the polishing room, besides destroying a quantity of valuable furniture ready for delivery. The building was owned by Mrs Godwin, Lower Hutt. Diedrich’s fur niture was not insured, and he. is a heavy loser.
