STILL THEY COME

PRETTY FILM ASPIRANTS. Hollywood, the alluring, continues to attract pretty girls from stage and society throughout America. Para-mount-Christie announces that a dozen talented newcomers have been added to the casting lists. One is Marcelle Edwards, daughter of Neely Edwards, screen comedian. She is just out of high school. Winnie Law, a cousin of Sally O’Neil, arrived in Hollywood recently after appearing in a revue. Alice Averill from “Sunny”; Elsie Tarron, Helen Roche, Jane Laurel, and Shirley Collins are five more. Nancy Deaver has been chosen as Bobby Vernon’s leading woman; Patricia Archer played irt the first “Confessions of a Chorus Girl” series; Marguerite Calova will appear in' a picture; Betty Lorraine and Frances Lee will play in “Picture My Astonishment.” Nancy Cornelius, who will be featured in Christie comedy, was “Miss Hollywood.”
