THE OLYMPIC TEAM NEW ZEALAND CONTINGENT [ Per Press Association J WELLINGTON, June 26. Mr A. D. Bayfield presided at the meeting of the Olympic Council tonight. A cable was received from Mr H. Amos, manager of the Olympic team, stating that the inclusion of Kalaughcr was not recommended. The organising secretary’s report showed that £3667 14s 4d had been collected as a result of the recent Olympic appeal. It was expected the final amount would be several hundred pounds greater. The matter '‘of the New Zealand team touring South Africa on the return journey at the South African Association’s expense is to be considered. The chairman considered that more detailed cables should be sent by the manager than had hitherto been sent. It was thought the public was entilted to know the derails.
