MOTOR-CYCLISTS HURT COLLISION WITH HORSE As the result of a collision with X a wandering horse at Castlecliff in the early hours of Sunday morning Herbert Lansdowne and Eric Alfred Small are now lying in the J Public Hospital, ijansaowne, who suffered concussion, is conscious intermittently only. At about 12.30 or 1 o’clock on Sunday morning the two young men Were travelling from Castlecliff towards the city on a motor-cycle when, at the intersection of Cornfoot and Bamber Streets they collided with a straying horse. They were taken to the hospital where it was discovered that Lansdowne was suffering from concussion and bruises. On Sunday night he did not regain consciousness, but last night he was cqnscious at times. Alfred Small suffered abrasions and cuts. Lansdowne, aged 19. who is employed as an apprentice boiler-maker in the New Zealand Government Railways, resides at 22 Rangitikei Street, Wanganui East. Small, also aged 19. is a carpenter and lives at 56 Jcllicoc Street, Wanganui East.
