CONGRESS APPROPRIATIONS LARGEST PEACE TIME BUDGET. [ Australian Press Assn. J Received Jc.no 7, 11.30 p.m. WASHINGTON, June 6. Congress made total appropriations in excess of 4,628,000,000 dollars —the largest budget for a single year’s expenditure in peace time in the history of the United States.
