The New Y'ork Telegram correspondent reports: 44 1 n a letter to the chairman, Mr Butler, President Coolidge warned the Republican Party that he will not accept nomination under any circumstances. 4 4 According to reliable information obtained from White House circles today, it is said that the latter was mailed to Mr Butler at Kansas City on Monday, but whether it will be made public at the Convention before the rfist ballot or only in the event of a swing to Mr Coolidge is unknown. His communication is said to have been couched in such forceful terms that even the most extreme draft Coolidge spokesman could not misunderstand nor disregard it.”
