The foursomes resulted in three wins each, and the singles in six each, including Wethercd’s defeat of Braid, 4 up and 3. Holderness beat Jolly, 4 up and 3. Hope beat Bay, 8 up and 7. Storey beat Havers, 2 up and 1. Bobson beat Tweddell, 3 up and 2. Charles Whitcombe beat Tolley, 3 up and 2.
