THE WEATHER. Indications are for fresh to strong I south-westerly winds, still reaching gale force in Fouveaux Strait and off shore in New Zealand waters, but moderating gradually; strong but decreasing southerly winds and rough seas in the eastern Tasman Sea- Expect some scattered showers in the western districts and in the far south, hut mainly fine and cold night temperatures, with some frost Inland.
