CYCLING
AMATEUR ROAD CLUB MEMBERS OUT TO-MORROW FOR RUN. Members of the Wanganui Amateur Road Racing Club will take part in a club run to-morrow, leaving Victoria Park and covering the Blueskin course. After crossing the bridge on the road, a turn to the right will be made to the Brunswick Road, to Kai Iwi and from there the return to Wanganui will be through Goat Valley and along the Great North Road. The run will commence at 10 a.m. and new members are invited. Among the excellent trophies for the season are: —F. W. Erskine Cup, A. E. Falconer Cup (points), D. A. Adamson Cup(second grade points), J. A. Pawson, jnr. Cup (fastest time). H. Dustin riband (fastest time) C. A. Cave riband (junior fastest time) and E. D. Bennett £5O Cup (Palmerston North—Wanganui Road race). Other trophies have also been given by Messrs »S. Hewgill (2), C. Chainey (2), A. Olsen, G. W. Broadhead, A. J. Thompson, J. E. Harper and H. Dustin.
