SKINS HIDES AND TALLOW
THE WANGANUI SALE Johnston ami Co. report as follows on Wednesday’s sale of skins, hides and tallow:— 1 Sheepskins.—Dry skins sold well, most grades showing an all round advance of id to Id per lb. Salted skins showed an increase from Gd to Is. Hides.—Hides elicited strong competition anti sold at late rates.- Calf skins were in good demand and good lines advanced Id to 2d per lb. Tallow.—Sold at late rates.
