CORRIEDALE SHEEP

DOMINION PURCHASES. J (A. & N.Z.) SYDNEY, April 19. : In connection with the shipments of Corriedales the lirsc consignment of twenty from Mr Macfarlanc’s stud will be shipped by the Marama on Friday to Mr C. Alma. Baker, of Auckland. The same day the Maunganui takes fourteen Corriedale ewes for Mr Leonard White, of Rakaia. Four of these were prize winners at the Sydney Sheep Show. The balance arc hoggets nine months old. Mr Storey, well known in Corriedale circles in Now Zealand, personally chose these ewes. He is doubtful whether there are four better ewes m the Dominion. They are direct descendants of the original Corriedale flock founded in Canterbury, in 1874.
