FINGER-PRINT EVIDENCE SCOTLAND YARD'S OPINION (A. & N.Z.) LONDON, April 18. A London Coroner referring to fin-ger-print evidence asked a Scotland Yard expert whether it was a fact that there was not one instance in a million of similarity in finger-prints. The expert replied: “Not even that. The number outstrips the world’s population by thousands of millions. Scotland Yard accepts it as a fact that there are no two persons in the whole world whose finger-prints agree in any particular whatsoever.”
