LOCAL ASSOCIATION SEASON'S PREPABATIONS. The Wanganui Hockey Association is anticipating a record season this year. The annual meeting has been arranged for Monday evening in the Y.M.C.A. rooms, when a full representation of clubs is expected. WESLEY LADIES ANNUAL MEETING HELD The Wesley Ladies’ Hockey Club held their annual general meeting in Trinity parlour on Tuesday last. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Miss A. Dover; vice-presidents. Miss E. Graham, Miss Stone; Mrs 11. W. Gilling; Mrs W. Brown, Mr G. Newsome, and Rev: E. T. Cox; secretary and treasurer, Miss R. Field; captain, Miss L. Lethaby; vice-captain, Miss R. Stevenson; Association delegates, Misses L. Lethaby and R. Field. It was decided to enter one senior team to join the men’s association. A vote of thanks was extended to Miss M. Wills as a sign of appreciation for her services as secretary during last year. The club colours have been changed from navy and light blue to Royal blue. Practices commence on April 14 at 2.30 p.m. sharp.
