HUNTERVILLE
HONOURING A CITIZEN. A large and representative meeting of old pupils of Hunterville School and residents of town and district was held in the Scots’ Hall on Tuesday night, for the purpose of arranging some form of recognition of Mr E. L. Ironmonger’s 26 years as headmaster of Hunterville District High School. The object of the meeting was explained by the convenor, Mr D. D. Simpson. Mr James Bull was elected chairman and Mr L. J. Thompson as secretary. All present were elected a committee and strong executive committees were set up.
Old pupils of the school arc to be circularised and anyone knowing the addresses of ex-pupils is requested to notify Messrs D. D. Simpson, Alien Bull, R. A. Gordon or the secretary, Mr L. D. Thompson.
