SHOOTING SENSATION
MERCHANT FOUND DEAD WIFE BADLY WOUNDED Received Alarch 27, 9.50 p.m (A. & N.Z.) AMSTERDAM, Alarch 27. Stock exchange and society circles have experienced a sensation by the news that Aladsam van Eug.hcn , niece of Sir Henri Deterding, the oil magnate, the woman member of the Stock Exchange was fount*! in her home with a bullet in her head.
The bullet was extracted, but the patient is in a critical condition.
Her husband, a prominent rubber merchant, was found fatally shot with a revolver.
Sir Henri Deterding, interviewed at Ascot late to-night was not aware of the occurrence.
