EARTHQUAKES CAUSE WIDESPREAD RUIN
Received Marell 27, 11 p.m. (A. & N.Z.) MEXICO CITY, March 27.
Dispatches from Pochukla, in the state of Oaxaca, report that the towns of Pluma, Hidalgo and Xodani have been devastated by a series of earthquakes. Bocks rolling down the sides of Las Irena mountain destroyed all the hamlets on the slopes, and it is feared that the mountain may crumble.
