A TERRIFIC CRASH
TWO STREETS BLOCKED
FAMOUS TOURS TOWER COLLAPSES.
Received March 27, 11.5 pm. (A. & N.Z.) TOURS (France) Mar. 27. The famous Tower of Charlemagne collapsed with a terrific crash, blocking two streets and damaging buildings. The authorities were warned by the appearance of enormous cracks, and by stopping traffic prevented any casualties.
