A MINISTERIAL PARTY VISIT TO BAY- OF PLENTY. [ Pat Press Association. ] ROTORUA, March 26. This morning the Ministers for Lands (the Hon. A. D. McLeod) and Public Works (the Hon. K. S. Williams) and Mr K. M. Graham, Commissioner for Crown Lands, accompanied by Mr F. F. Hockly, M.P. for Rotorua, visited the Atiamuri homestead settlement and examined the claims of settlers and schemes for development, roading, schooling and dealing with existing eductaional reserves. The Ministers were sympathetically inclined and promised an investigation into the points raised. In the afternoon the party visited local farms where work is being carried out in re-grassing, and also received local deputations. To-morrow they proceed to Te Puke on Kaituna drainage matters, and later to the Waihi swamp works, proceeding thence to Tauranga for the railway opening on Wednesday.
