FATAL MINE FIRE
THE HOLLINGAR DISASTER MANAGEMENT CHARGED WITH CARELESSNESS. Received March 25, 5.5 p.m. (A.P.A.-Sun) OTTAWA, March 24. A message frm Timmins (Ontario) states that a coroner and jury, after an inquiry into the Hollingar mine fire disaster, in which 39 men lost their lives, charged the management and operating executives with gross negligence for permitting rubbish to be dumped on old stops.
