Beautiful and interesting as tV whole river is, the part from the House boat down to Pipiriki is the best all. The great walls close in, rising sheer from the water’s edge. Such wealth of foliage, such harmonious blending of colours, such magnificence is displayed, the picture is a perfect scenic masterpiece.
