THE LATE MR. ALPERS
MEMORIAL SERVICE HELD FUNERAL AT CHRISTCHURCH ( Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, Nov. 22. A service was held in St. Paul 's today in memory of the late Mr Justice Alpers. Among those present were Sir Charles Statham, the Hon, F. J. Rolleston, Sir Heaton Rhodes, Sir Charles Skerrett, Sir Robert Stout. Sir Joseph Ward, Sir John Luke, Mr Justice MacGregor and Mr Justice Frazer and many members of the bar and representative public men. The actual funeral takes place at Christchurch to-morrow.
