A GOOD SAVE
EARLY MORNING FIRE SHOP DAMAGED AT AEAMOHO A two-roomed shop, with a five-room-ed dwelling attached, was the scene of an fire early yesterday morning at Aramoho. At 2.30 o’clock the Central Brigade was called to the outbreak, which had taken place in the shop premises at the junction of Bute and Stewart Streets. Considerable damage had already resulted from the flames and minor damage by smoke in the residence. A timely save was effected by the brigade. The building is owned by Air J. H. Woodham and is occupied by Mr William Haskell, confectioner and grocer. Insurances are: Premises, £BOO, contents of store, £150; furniture, £150; • and piano £BO. The cause of the outbreak is not known.
