NEW SOUTH WALES COAL INDUSTRY. (A. & N.Z.) SYDNEY, Nov. 14. As a result of slackness in the coal trade, many miners have received notice of dismissal. For a long time past the demand, particularly from overseas, for Australian coal had been on the decrease. It is stated that the frequency of trouble on the coalfields anl the absence of a guarantee of the regular fulfilment of orders has induced many overseas customers to look elsewhere for supplies.
