ST. ANDREW’S FLOWER SHOW [ Special “ Chronicle ” Service ] In spite of unfavourable weather there was a good attendance at bt. Andrew’s Flower Show, held in the Town Hall, yesterday, and the display of flowers was splendid. Mr J. Linklater, M.P., sent an apology for nonattendance, owing to Parliamentary duties. Airs T. R. Willis (Greatford) won the Challenge Cup for roses. Various competitions were held during the day and evening. Following are the principal winners:— Cjhallenge Cups Roses:—Mrs T. R. Willis. The full prize list will appear tomorrow. “SOMEWHERE IN SONORA” Ken Afaynard star of “Somewhere in Sonora,” the Charles R. Rogers production for First National to be screened at Bulls on Saturday evening was once the star rider of the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey show. Afaynard trouped for several years with the circus before becoming a motion picture star, which accounts for the marvelous riding he does in his picture. His association with circus and wilidi west, shows also resulted in his making the friendship of various Indian tribes whoso members appeared with these shows.
