R. B. HORSLEY AND CO

AGENTS FOB WANGANUI DISTRICT. STANDARD RUGBY AND SINGER CARS. THE ALL BRITISH CARS. In appearance, comfort, coachwork and equipment the standard cars represent exceptionally outstanding values. The owner-driver’s requirements have been specially considered and, in addition to the usual standard roominess, there are numerous improvements in detail. R. B. Horsley and Co. are showing a number of models including the Standard 5-seater tourer of 14 horse power, the 5-seater Englishbuilt saloon, and the 2-seatcr colonialbuilt coupe. The all-British Standard is noted for its sterling British workmanship, its low running cost—3o miles to the gallon—and its neatness of finish. Built for New Zealand roads and upholstered in leather, the notable feature of the 5-seater tourer is the allweather side curtains, sliding into the door, making a delightful sedan car at the driver’s wish. The Standard is essentially English in design and appearance, and lovers of BRITISH MADE CARS cannot do better than discuss the latest models with the representative on the show grounds. Also showing are 4 and 6-cylinder Rugby cars. The Rugby car needs very little introducing. To-day it is the best buying on the market, both from an economical point of view and that of demonstrated power. In appearance, it has more than usual beauty. It has accessibility. These are among the main and outstanding features of the Rugby. Each Rugby car is thoroughly tested and inspected before being packed for export, so that prospective Rugby car owners may buy with confidence. Full balloon tyres go with every deal. Chassis and motor lubrication are of the very latest approved model. All cars are equipped with the well-known Continental Red Seal engines, which develop the greatest power in proportion to engine size, also the greatest power in proportion to the weight of the car.

These features make this car a wonderful hill climber, all main roads in New Zealand being taken on top gear and yet the mileage per gallon is remarkable.

Talk it over with R. B. Horsley, and Co., at the show grounds, or Guyton Street, Wanganui. —Arlvt.
