ROYAL VISITORS PLEASED SCHOLARS ON COOK’S GARDENS “What bonny children!” exclaimed the Duchess of York, with the winning smile that so endeared he r to New Zealanders, “How well-trained and well-behaved they are,” commented the Duke, as he inspected the joyful faces in the throng on Cook’s Gardens. These same school children will he seen again on Cook’s Gardens to-mor-row, when a big athletic sports meeting will be hekl to celebrate the ninth anniversary of Armistice Day. Judging by .the enthusiasm being'displayed by the scholars themselves and the teachers who are organising fh« buucessTul of its kind yet heici in"A\’anganui, and may safely be recommended to parents an t d friends of the young people as worthy of patronage.
