THE WANGANUI LEAGUE A SUCCESSFUL SALT! Assisted by the Wanganui Girls 9 College Old Girls’ Association and the St. Vincent de Paul Society, members of the Wanganni District Nursing League held a shop in Victoria Avenne yesterday with the object of raising fnndM to carry on the League’s work. Buttonholes were sold in the street by engaging young ladies, and produce, flowers and sweets were disposed of tdh augment the funds. In all, £44 8s 3<? was collected in donations, £lB 6s from the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and the flower stall realised £25 18s 9d« making a total of £B9 13s.
