“THE NAUGHTY WIFE” On Tuesday evening next at the Opera House, members of the Wanganui Amateur Musical and Dramatic Society and.' the public will have the opportunity of witnessing a bright modern, merry comedy. “The Naughty Wife.” This play had a very successful season in London when Miss Gladys Cooper played the leading role. The caste of characters appears in the advertisement columns, and patrons are assured of a very bright performance. The complications that arise throughout the play create highly entertaining and laughable situations. The play is being produced bv Mr F. O. Bridgeman, and' the performers have been rehearsing for some considerable time and when the curtain goes up on Tuesday night everything will be in tip top order. The scenes are beautifully laid out, and aro being specially built by Mr Arthur Gaskin, the effects being by Mr Bob Howell. The productions of the Wanganui amateurs are so well known that it needs no further comment to assure patrons of a high class performance.
