Mangaonoho Club The women members of the Mangaonoho Miniature Rifle Club fired off the final shoot for the J. Really trophy with the following results:—Mrs K. Dalziell 47—2—48, Mrs F. Paget 190, Mrs Dalziell thus winning the trophy by one point. In a competition for a trophy presented by Mr R. G. Dalziell for the highest points scored from the rifle, Mrs K. Dalziell again proved the winner, scoring a possible. Details were Mrs K. Dalziell 50, Miss E. Parkes 49, Miss L. Coleman 48, Mrs H. Watkins 45, Miss A. McMurchie 44, Miss I. McAlley 43, Mrs W. Rowe 41, Miss D. Watkins 40, Mrs J. Tabor 39, Miss M. Paget 38, Mrs F. Paget 33. Afternoon tea was provided by Mesdames Dalziell and Paget. An invitation to Ohingaiti has been sent to visit Mangaonoho next Wednesday to contest a friendly competition. The following was the result of the shoot at night for H. Gibbs’ trophy:— F. Paget, K. Dalziell, J. Rowe, C. Stephenson and G. Gibbs 48, A. Gibbs 4.7, A. 45, C. A. Long 44, H. Rowe 43, J. Hardie 42, R. De Faur 38. Mr J. Rowe and Mr G. Gibbs tied with a score of 47 for a trophy presented by Mr Stephenson. In the shootoff Mr G. Gibbs proved successful.
