?To My Readers. — The next problem I have chosen is one which I think should provide a wide scope for I your imagination. W Some years ago I had occasion to visit some friends in the I country, having decided that it should be a surprise visit I did not . notify them of my coming. The I homestead being some distance from I the road. I decided to take a short | out through some paddocks. Having proceeded about halfway I suddenly | became aware that a bull was expressing dissatisfaction at my apI pearance in his domain. He rushed l at me. I realised that to escape J certain death I must do something, ■ and quickly. | Can any of my readers tell me what steps I took to circumvent the | fulfilment of his desire. The usual prize of 2s 6d will be I awarded the best answers sent in.
