DAIRY PRODUCE
A LARGE SHIPMENT PAKEHA LOADS AT CASTLECLIFF The largest shipment of dairy produce from the port of Wanganui since the war days, has just been mad'c by the steamer Pakeha, which finished loading in tho roadstead late last week. The ship took away 13,842 boxes of butter and 6,710 crates of cheese, the quantities more than doubling those of the average shipments made from Wanganui. It is interesting to recall that abnormal shipping conditions during the war days were chiefly responsible for large shipments. The Government commandeer of produce was in operation and this often caused die ■ nvs.
