SUCCESSFUL TOUR NEW ZEALANDERS’ FIGURES. BATTING AND BOWLING AVERAGES. New Zealand’s win against Worcestershire makes a total of ten matches played. New Zealand have wone two. lost three and drawn five. The total score made by New Zealand in these matches amounts to 5223 runs against their opponents’ score of 5206. Twenty centuries have been scored in these matches, ten by New Zealand and ten by their opponents. It is curious to note that Lowry, the popular New Zealand captain, has scored 106 on three different occasions and it seems as though he cannot pass that figure. It will be seen by the figures given that the New Zealand team arc certainly holding their own against the County elevens, and their record so far must be very gratifying to their supporters who did not expect such wonderful achievements from the first New Zealand eleven to visit England. The following are the batting and bowling averages, catches taken, and scores of 50 and over made by the New Zealand team: —
