TO MEET THE CANADIANS NEW ZEALAND’S FIRST TEST WANGANUI PLAYERS NOT CHOSEN [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, June 13. The sole selector (Mr B. L. Salmon) announces that the following team will represent New Zealand in the first test match against Canada at Dunedin, on June 25: AlcDougall (Canterbury), Anderson (Otago), AlcGirr (Wellington) jßaxter (Auckland), Steere (Buller), Jones (Auckland, (captain), Alclnnis (Auckland), Newman (Buller), Spencer (Auckland), Hislop (Auckland), Balk (Otago). Emergencies: Braithwaite (Otago) and McCormick (Otago). The team will assemble at Dunedin on the Tuesday before the match. Special arrangements have been made for practice. Mr R. Graves is manager.
