CASTLECUFF LADIES’ CLUB ASHWELL FERNS TO-DAY A ladies’ foursome will be playoil to-day for the Ashwell Ferns. All players are requested to be at the golf house at 1.30 p.m. ENGLISH CHAMPIONSHIP FRENCH WOMAN WINS LONDON, May 19. The final of the English women’s golf championship resulted in Mddlo. Dp Lachume beating Miss Pearson 5 up and 4 to play. BOTH THE SUPREMACY and the popularity of Spalding Golf Balls have been proved amongst golfers all over the world, whether plus or long handicap players. In 1926 alone over two dozen World Championships and Tournaments were won with Spalding’s. No other ball has won so many major events. 4
