BOXER'S DEATH

INQUEST ON OVEREND NO BLAME FOR OPPONENT [Per Press Association.] NAPIER, May 20. At the inquest concerning the death of the boxer, Roy Overond, the medical evidence disclosed that there was an abnormality of the skull, as a result of which a blow which otherwise would have been harmless caused haemorrhage from which deceased succumbed. The coroner found that it was a clean and fair fight, and returned a verdict in accordance with the medical evidence.
