FOUND HANGING
WOMAN’S BODY IN SHED LEFT NOTE INDICATING SUICIDE. [Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 19. The body of an elderly single woman, Jean Lawrence, was found hanging in an outbuilding of a house at Howick to-day. She was last seen alive on Monday evening. A letter was found in the house indicating the woman’s intention of committing suicide. A sum of over £lOO was left in s prominent place, with an instructioi 1 that certain small accounts be paid anc 1 the balance be given to the Charitabl< Aid Board.
