ATTEMPTS ABANDONED
REFLOATING THE RIVERINA TIDES NOT SUITABLE. (A. & N.Z.) SYDNEY, May 20. Attempts to refloat the Riverina have been abandoned for the present, owing to the unsuitable tides. If eventually the vessel is refloated, the cost of repairs will be considerable, as the bottom of the ship has been set up more than was at first thought, and other damage is also reported.
