A FATAL BITE
SNAKE DEMONSTRATION CURATOR DIES (A. & N.Z.) ADELAIDE, May 20. Four months ago Mr C. J. French came from South Africa to act as curator at the snake park established by the City Council, in order to afford knowledge of how best to treat snake bites. The place contained specimens of all sorts of venomous and nonvenomous reptiles. Mr French, who is a recogniscid' authority on snakes, was bitten by a large black snake on Wednesday while giving a demonstration before the children and died yesterday as the result of the bite.
