BEST SELLING COMMODITY Comedy is the best-selling motion picture commodity in the world to-day, according to a theatre survey taken by B. P. Schulberg, associate Paramount producer. In checking up what the public likes in the way of screen entertainment as a basis for the production schedule for the coming year, the producer discovered that comedy ranks first, romance second, and melodrama third.
