STRIKING PRINTERS
COMPULSORY CONFERENCE MEN ORDERED TO RESUME WORK. (A. & N.Z.) PERTH, May 19. A compulsory conference between the parties to the dispute in the printing trades was held before the President of the State Arbitration Court, who, after hearing both sides, directed that matters in dispute should be brought before the Court, and ordered the men to resume work immediately. The men, however, did not resume last night.
