DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS PROFITS. [Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, May 17. The question of the disposal of the surplus profits for the last financial year was discussed by the Dunedin. Savings Bank trustees to-day. It was agreed to grant £lOOO to the Dunedin Free Public Library as an endowment. A grant of the same amount was made in 1910, and the Library will now receive the benefit of the interest on £2OOO.
A grant of £lOOO was also made to the Otago University general fund, and it is understod that the amount will be subsidised £ for £ by the Government.
