FATAL ACCIDENT
OLD MAN’S DEATH CAR DRIVER NOT TO BLAME [Per Press Association.] GISBORNE, May 18. At the inquest on Frank McCarten, an elderly man who died from injuries I through being knocked down by a car in Gladstone road, evidence was given that the car was driven by Anslie Dunstone, who was not travelling more than 10 miles an hour. The coroner held that there was no evidence as to carelessness or negligence on the part of the driver.
