SEQUEL TO AN ACCIDENT
CAR DRIVER FINED [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, May 18. Charles Holdsworth, a motorist, was yesterday fined £l5 and costs for negligent driving, and 20s and costs for not reporting an accident. His license was cancelled until April, 1930: The evidence showed that while driving some friends at night he collided with a motor cyclist, who was very badly injured anti lost a leg. The police said the defendant was not fit to have a license.
