FOOTBALL ( From the " Chronicle’s ” Special Correspondent. ] The Waitotara Rugby team met Rauru on the Domain on Saturday last and were defeated by 3 points to nil. This was a very good game. Waitotara jacked combination and will need a good deal of training to carry them tlnvugh the season. Opaku met Rangatatau on the same ground, winning by 27 points to nil. This was a very uninteresting game, as Rangatatau were unable to put in a strong team. Mr Burn haid, charge of the both games.
